Why is this a Foodgasm? It has magic in it: lamb! Plus this is easy, took less than 30 mins to make this classic fusion. This is my favorite thing to do: take a classic and put my own spin on it. So instead of beef we have lamb **drool**, then I topped with some arugula, red onions and I made my own yogurt sauce to top it. So you got your meaty succulent lamb, some veggies and a creamy and tangy yogurt sauce al dancing on your taste buds. Oh boy I wish I was eating this NOW!
Yields 4 servings
What you need
8 oz. ground lambCinnamon
Nutmeg
4 Low Carb Flour Tortilla wraps
Purple Tzatziki (yogurt sauce)
2/3 cup non fat Greek yogurt
1/1/2 teaspoon crushed garlic
3 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon oregano
2 slices of a halved red onion
salt and pepper to taste
tiny dash of Cinnamon
Toppings
cucumber, diced
tomato, diced
red onion, sliced
Fresh arugula
How to make it
In a large skillet on medium/high heat brown the ground lamb with a dash of cinnamon and nutmeg. In a food processor combine all ingredients for the purple tzatziki and pulse a few times until it has a purple tint.How to make it
How to Serve it
Put 1/4 of the ground lamb on a tortilla and just place on your toppings as you like!
