Beer Month's First Recipe Roundup is here with my Dos Equis Rice and Beans and much more!

 Why is this a Foodgasm?

Rice and beans is a nice simple dish, but for me I always have to take it to the next level, that's just how I roll. So it being Beer Month and all I figured why not add some cerveza to the mix and top it with some refreshing lime "sour cream", yeah it's really Greek yogurt (don't worry you won't be able to tell the difference). I wanted some extra protein so I topped with grilled chicken seasoned with chipotle powder. This is a quick and easy dish loaded with flavor and fiber! This is the first recipe party for beer month, see below for links to other AMAZING beer recipes by my #beermonthbloggers friends!

Dark Chocolate Stout Cupcakes with Salted Caramel Frosting

Why is this a Foodgasm?

You got some dark chocolate cupcakes, but wait....is that Guinness, oh my! Then I topped it with caramel frosting, woah....but then I took it up another notch, just one more. I added sea salt! That is like bam, Bam, BAM! Yes I found a way to bring you dark chocolate, stout AND salted caramel! YES! Then I reduced the fat AND made it easy to make!!

Your welcome!

I came up with this idea at the supermarket, while getting the supplies I needed. I have had dark chocolate with salted caramel truffles, then I thought why not make this as a cupcake?! Not too weird or crazy! Plus I know I can do it with a cake mix- EASY too score!

Double Stout Guinness Sliders

Why is this a Foodgasm?

Who doesn't like to go out for some burgers and beer? Well I took the two and fused them into the perfect combination they were destined to be! I marinated the ground beef in Guinness, then to add a double shot of that stout action I made caramelized onion with a stout reduction! But wait, there's more! To add to the delicious Irish action I topped these sliders with Dubliner cheese, a sweet aged Irish cheese! I even cut the fat using lean ground beef for the sliders, because I love my heart and yours!
