Peanut Butter and Honey Greek Yogurt #Quickie

A quick, delicious and healthy treat, perfect for: breakfast, snack or dessert!
This is embarrassingly easy, but hey it's the simple things sometimes! Right?

I was thinking of things I can add into my Greek yogurt to make it delicious... never thought to add peanut butter, until.... I was developing a recipe for peanut butter and honey Greek yogurt and I thought, if I can eat this frozen, why not eat it fresh.

So I did it the very next morning, not adding milk like I would for the fro-yo. The result, a creamy dreamy treat good enough to be dessert, but healthy enough to eat anytime!

So for a loooong time I wanted to post this and thought: who would care... it's too easy. Then I thought, that is kinda why it's genius too.

Just a quick almost non- recipe.

1/2 cup Greek Yogurt + 1 tablespoon peanut butter + 1/2 teaspoon honey + (optional) granola topping= YUMMMMMMMM

It's simple and delicious and I know you WILLLLLL love it!

Let me know what you think!! XOXO!

A Super (Quick, Easy, Delicious and Healthy) Breakfast

Why is this a Foodgasm?

Who likes their oatmeal creamy?! Yeah I do and I know you got your hand raised too! Creamy usually means a shit ton of calories and fat, but you know that's now how I roll. This oatmeal creamy because of the magic of nonfat Greek yogurt. Yup- Greece has got you covered again!

This is a SUPER easy breakfast that is PACKED with staying power. It will stick to yo little riblets and keep you satisfied for hours. Thank you protein! Thank you nonfat Greek Yogurt and for complete instant oatmeal with even more added protein!

The addition of a small amount of dried cranberries and pistachios brings a variety of texture and some sweetness. Making this really seem like a treat rather than that regular drab breakfast. Plus it adds color, making it a feast for the eyes as well Regular oatmeal color by itself just aint appealing.

What you need

1 packet Trader Joe's Oatmeal Complete, made to package directions (you can use whatever brand you like, but Trader Joe's is the best I tried, not all microwave oatmeal is equal)
1/4 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons pistachios
2 tablespoons dried cranberries

How to make it

1- Make oatmeal to package directions with water, I use less, I like it thick.
2- After it's cooked stir in Greek yogurt and then cover in the pistachios and cranberries.

DONE! In less than 5! You can have a healthy breakfast in a short amount of time and no prep! Do it up!

PS- I was in NOT asked by Trader Joe's to do this or compensated by them.  I just LOVE them soooo much! All their yogurt is hormone free for the same price as the leading brand. All their products have no preservatives and are high quality and extremely affordable!

Spinach and Feta Strata

I cannot get enough of the spinach and feta combo. I made Spinach and Feta Orzo, I made a Spinach and Feta Salad and now I got for you a Spinach and feta Strata. It is part quiche, part potato and part fritata. In fact, I had a really had time naming this, LOL. But a food bloggers friend of mine came up with something sorta like this and called it a strata, so thanks Joanne from Joanne Eats Well with Others. You saved me on this one!

Why is this a Foodgasm?

Spinach and Feta, it is magical and delicious and totally Greek. I like to give a nod to my hetitage when I can and they knew what they were doing with this flavor combo. Salty, creamy and you got a little bitter from the spinach, it just works. Then of course I add in some caramelized onions, garlic and you got yourself a full blown Greek-gasm. I love that this has a layer of potatoes too. It's a great filling meal, especially nice with a side salad for breakfast, brunch, lunch or even dinner.
